Live with Diabetes for a Day

quote

So what's it like to have type 1 diabetes? Well, it's almost impossible to describe all the ways it impacts your life, all the things you have to constantly think about, or try not to think about, all the things you have to do, and worry about, and... ugh, it's just so hard sometimes! But then you have those days when all your numbers are good, and you feel great, and you think, hey, this isn't so bad, I've got this under control!

Just to give you an idea what it's like, we're going to take you through one day in the life of Gina, age 33, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 25 years old. And remember, we're just showing you one day. People with type 1 diabetes never get a "day off." This is their life, 24/7.
