The JDRF Kids website features pen pals, kids' art, information about dealing with type 1 diabetes day-to-day, and more. There's also a special section for kids newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and their families and friends.
JDRF can also help if you would like to meet other kids with diabetes who live near you! You can attend one of our fun events such as ice skating, bowling, baseball games (San Francisco Giants AND Oakland A’s) and more, or you can email Carolyn Eisen for help connecting with others in smaller groups or one-on-one.
Youth Ambassadors is a program for kids with type 1 diabetes in K-12th grades who want to support JDRF by spreading awareness about diabetes, educate others about the disease, and meet and get to know other kids who also have type 1 diabetes in a fun, interactive setting.

JDRF offers a variety of local and national e-publications to help you stay connected to the information you care about.
